Of the $82 billion MXN Liverpool has sold in the first six months of the year, approximately 28% came through digital channels, while over 50% of transactions were made using its proprietary cards. The company has issued more than 7.5 million cards so far, leading to a 19% growth in its credit portfolio compared to 2023, reaching almost $50 billion MXN (BMV).
Commentary: In Mexico, only BBVA and Banamex have issued more cards. For context, this portfolio size exceeds HSBC's credit card placement and is comparable to Banorte’s offering. (Link)

Chinese vehicle manufacturer BYD has made a substantial leap in the Fortune Global 500 list revealed on August 5. This year, the company ranked 143rd, up from 212th last year.
